Is there life after death
A Garden of Eden or Shan gri la,
Dare we wish for a better death
Than the life we've so far saw.

My life has been unpredictable
At time's it's taken my breath,
But the last year was so hard
That I actually wished for death.

I was made to feel worthless
And as bad as it's been before
I always felt I gave my all
To the world with smiles and more.

The finalness of her word
I saw myself through her eyes,
What could I offer any woman
An outlaw with alibi's.

Do we go to a better place
Is our soul trapped on this earth,
Is this one phase in many lives
And we go from birth to birth?

A leap into the great unknown
Just leaving all my past,
No burden on family or self
A chance for peace at last???
